I’ve got over the whole silly season and I hope you have too, I didn’t do anything but I feel glad that it’s over. I just hope that the world improves, that it plans for the future, appreciates the things it has, demands attention be given to those that need attention and realises that we all need help, and that we all reject the mountains of cynical crap offered by those in charge.
I see that millions of people are still dying every day due to a lack of basic necessities, that the northern hemisphere is covered in snow, that whole sections of Queensland towns are being evacuated because of flooding, while the other side on the west, has record heat conditions, that America’s home owners are being booted out of their homes, that there are still millions of unemployed and homeless people all over the world .. what in the fuck can we do ?
Well dear reader, I don’t know, the weather is one thing, in light of global warning, maybe we should strive to reduce our impact on the planet. but what about the corrupt financial system, politicians and the blinkered complacency of the mass population, that is something that we can fix.
Go and watch Michael Moore’s Capitalism a love story & Sicko, to get a glimpse of what a stymied pickle this world has become, of course it’s American based, but true I would think of the world as a whole, the population needs to revolt. cause a proper and legal uprising to remove the ingrained “shitiness” that is the current standard of public office and corporate culture around the world. so …
