Reading Time: 2 minutesIt’s the weekend. A long weekend packed with celebration and relaxation and I’m doing both. Although at the moment i’m sat here typing another list. It’s an attempt at a list of wonderful things, things to share, things to imbibe and things to restrict in volume.
Ok it’s a short list, because as you should be aware dear reader, I’m always moaning, so creating this positive list has been most difficult. Trust me – it’s difficult.
- The amazing love that a dog can provide
- Mankind’s ability to get out of the shity situation it puts itself in .. (well normally)
- The love of a parent, unless they’re in china and their child is female
- The beauty of nature sparkling on a crisp april morning
- The quiet achieved on that same morning before the neighbours tribe attack
- The sharing of admiration, hints, feedback and power from my fellow bloggers
- The faint hope that tbaoo might actually make some money from being tbaoo
- The fact that all of us know we should be better, some I hope – try to be
- The smiles brought to my face from absurd comedy, be it crass or calm
- The right I have in Queensland to be able to say “I told you so”, it won’t take long
- In Australia, we have the ability to vigorously complain about our politicians
- The protection we have under the law, yes i know – the more money you have = greater protection
- Being able to still remember most things, some are getting lost in the fog
- The right (often actioned ) to not take myself too seriously
- The joy in not being so anal about SEO, hints, tips, and not posting same the old same old stuff about blogging while rehashing new technology reviews
- The ability, or curse, to be able grow as much hair on my head, body and face, as i deem appropriate
- That I have the time, the energy, the ability and the resources to keep banging this nonsense out online
- The fact that I’m running out of positives just now and it doesn’t matter

I think it would also be an inspiration to everyone to ‘create more good’ if we got to hear of real-life examples of this sort of thing happening, such as positive news stories like you mentioned.
the pity is that positives don’t often get declared as news – aside from small cats or cute pandas and the like .. thanks claire 😉

Ha, that was great. I love it. You made me smile at least a dozen different times in less then five minutes and trust me that’s an accomplishment with me. These days I’m so serious. I need to lighten up. Thanks for helping that to happen.
